Usage statistics
We use aggregated website statistics provided by Cloudflare to understand how Pedal Ready is used and to improve its performance. These statistics may include pages visited, approximate country, referring site, browser, operating system, device type and page-loading performance.
Pedal Ready does not use these statistics to identify individual visitors or track them across other websites. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Location
If you use your current location, your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather, to BigDataCloud to identify your area, and sometimes to OpenStreetMap/Nominatim when a more precise locality label is needed. Manual place searches are sent to Open-Meteo.
Location permission is optional. You can search for a location manually instead.
Saved on your device
Your clothing preferences, recent location, kit history and comfort ratings are stored locally in your browser. Pedal Ready does not save this information in an account or application database.
This information remains on your device until you delete it in the app or clear this site's browser data.
Hosting
Cloudflare processes basic connection, security and performance information when operating and protecting the website. Cloudflare and the location and weather providers named above may process information outside your country and retain technical logs under their own policies.
Your choices
You can refuse location access, search for a place manually and clear locally saved information through your browser.
The service
Pedal Ready provides cycling clothing suggestions based on forecast weather and the ride information you select.
Use your judgement
Forecasts and recommendations may be inaccurate. Check the conditions before riding and choose clothing and equipment suitable for you.
Your safety
You are responsible for your clothing, equipment, route and personal safety. Pedal Ready is not a substitute for professional, medical or emergency advice.
Availability
The service is provided as available and may change or be unavailable. Nothing on this page limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
