Pedal Ready does not require an account and does not collect your name or email address.

Location

If you use your current location, your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather, to BigDataCloud to identify your area, and sometimes to OpenStreetMap/Nominatim when a more precise locality label is needed. Manual place searches are sent to Open-Meteo.

Location permission is optional. You can search for a location manually instead.

Saved on your device

Your preferences, recent location and kit history are stored in your browser until you delete them in the app or clear this site's browser data. Pedal Ready does not store your precise coordinates in an account or application database.

Hosting

Cloudflare may process your IP address and basic technical information to operate and protect the site, including through necessary security cookies. These providers may process information outside your country and retain technical logs under their own policies.

Your choices

You can refuse location access and clear locally saved information through your browser.

The service

Pedal Ready provides cycling clothing suggestions based on forecast weather and the ride information you select.

Use your judgement

Forecasts and recommendations may be inaccurate. Check the conditions before riding and choose clothing and equipment suitable for you.
